EPRP Stickers Cover Addis Abeba again

On Saturday, December 11, EPRP stickers proclaiming Long Live the EPRP and calling for the intensification of the struggle against the Meles regime have been posted in Addis Abeba. Previously in early September many parts of Addis Abeba were also covered by such yellow colored stickers. This time around the stickers decorated walls, electric poles, billboards, cars and buses, telecommunications posts and public telephone booths in the following areas of Addis Abeba: Piazza, Merkato or New Market, Megenagna, Gulele, on the road from Meshualekia to Sarris, Haya Hulete, Ferensaye and Bela, 4,5, and 6 kilos area. December 13/2003 – Anuaks Massacred by Troop of Meles

On December 13/ 2003 soldiers and security personnel of the ruling EPRDF killed more than 400 Anuaks (some say the number is much more than that) in a murderous campaign that lasted for days. The brutal massacre was ordered by Meles Zenawi himself and two other top officials of the Tigrean Front /TPLF/, Abaye Tsehaye and Dr. Barnabas, are also to be blamed for the crime. None of them has been brought before a court of law and a fake inquiry just made some soldiers responsible for the killings in an apparent cover up. Read More…

SOCEPP: There is a news report that the heads of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the Catholic and Evangelical churches and the Ethiopian Moslems Council have together met with former regime’s top officials who are convicted prisoners in Kaliti. The officials are accused and convicted of crimes against the people including the anti-EPRP Red Terror which killed more than 250,000 people. Read More…
